Morris Arnold Holley, age 69, of Olive Branch, ran into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, April 29, 2023. He was born in Marietta, GA on June 21, 1953 to the late Charles and Ruby (Payne) Holley.
Morris was a police sergeant in Fulton, KY before moving to Olive Branch where he was the facilities manager at Goodman Oaks Church of Christ. He loved working on anything and everything, but most of all, enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Morris is preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Mary Beth Stone, brother-in-law Johnny Mathis, and nephew Lance Narowitz.
Morris will be remembered by his beloved wife of 27 years, Linda (Sutton) Holley, son Isaac Benjamin Holley, stepson Kevin Fields (Kim), granddaughters Alexis Holley Samantha Hamil (Dillion), Kate Elkins, grandsons Brody Fields and Keith Stone (Abby), great-grandchildren Kensley, Isabelle, Camryn, and Ava, sisters Olivia Holley Mathis of Walnut, MS, Marilyn Holley Narowitz (Louis) of Bethel Springs, TN, his twin brother Marvin B. Holley (Linda G.) of South Fulton, TN, and brothers Craig Holley (Michelle) of Michie, TN and Roger Holley (Lynn) of Wrightsville, GA.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am at Goodman Oaks Church of Christ, 1700 Goodman Road, Southaven. Pallbearers are Keith Stone, Dillion Hamil, Jay Cole, Art Shumway, Mark Mathis, and Luke Mathis, and honorary pallbearers are Joe Rodgers, Gary Patterson, Gary Lofton, and Sonny Howell.
Burial will be at 11:00 am on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Union City Memorial Gardens, Union City, TN.
