A proud single mother, Barbara dedicated her life to raising her son, Rick Battaglia (Jennifer). She poured her heart into ensuring that he had everything he needed, and he will forever remember her as the greatest mom one could ever hope for. Her selflessness was evident in every aspect of her life; she would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need. Her friends and family often found comfort in her presence, knowing they could always rely on her kindness and compassion.
Throughout her career, Barbara served as a receptionist at Methodist North, where her warm smile and friendly demeanor left a lasting impression on all who knew her. After retiring, she focused on the things that brought her joy, including spending time with loved ones, playing card games, and frequenting the casino. Many will fondly remember the laughter shared during cookouts and conversations that lasted well into the night.
