Barbara Ellen Brady, born on August 20, 1953, in Memphis, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, in Southaven, Mississippi. Her departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Barbara led a dynamic life, filled with numerous experiences, yet she found her passion and career in the world of numbers as a bookkeeper at a law office, where she retired after many fulfilling years. Known for her caring nature, Barbara was loved not only for her professional dedication but for her inherent ability to take care of people, always putting others before herself.

While Barbara enjoyed several pastimes, such as dancing and traveling, one of her proudest accomplishments was a cherished journey to Paris, a city that captured her heart and added to her beautiful memories. The weekends often brought her family together, where laughter echoed through the air during lunches and BBQs—these gatherings etched into the hearts of those she loved.

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph "Jody" Brady, as well as by her parents, Dalton M. Childers and Lottie Mae (Reeves) Childers. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Wanda Stafford and Geneva Roberson, and her brother, David Childers, all of whom have left footprints in her life story.

She is survived by numerous family members who adored her, including her sister, Judy Pierce (James), her grandnephew, James Pierce Jr. (Kristy), her grandniece, Shannon Pierce, among others, and several cousins who carry her memory forward.
