Benny Ray Wyatt, age 72, of Coldwater, MS, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Baptist Hospital East in Memphis. He was born in Shreveport, LA on January 9, 1951 to the late Claudie Lee and Evelyn Estelle (Austin) Wyatt.
Benny was a master glazier and estimator for Pittman Glass in Memphis, and he loved to cook – especially barbequing, and playing on the computer and writing computer programs.
In addition to his parents, Benny is preceded in death by his son, David Allen Wyatt and his brother, Michael Vernon Wyatt.
Benny will be remembered by his loving wife of 53 years, Jimmie (Sanders) Wyatt, son Christopher Lee Wyatt (Christi), daughter Amanda Alice Watson, 15 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother Marvin Glen “Buddy” Wyatt, sisters Margaret Lynn Hoover, and Peggy Sharon Wyatt, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
