Billie Faye Newsom, 79, went to her heavenly home on Friday, July 2, 2021 in at Baptist Memorial Hospital- Desoto. Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Road East Southaven, Mississippi 38671).  Interment will be held at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.

Billie Faye is survived by her three children: Cathy Winters of Horn Lake, MS, Danita McDaniel (James) of Southaven, MS, and John Newsom, Jr. of Southaven, MS; seven grandchildren: Charles R. Winters, Jr. (Rebecca), Regina Jones (David), John Winters (Amanda), Jessica Winters, Andrew McDaniel, Kimberly Bennett (Chris), Ally Judkins and Dakota Bibbs.

She is also survived by nine great grandchildren: Abigale, Jay, Landon, Will, Abraham, Emma, Amelia, Joy Ann and Kaden; three sisters: Dorothy Douglas, Barbara Judkins and Betty Sue Tuck; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Billie Faye is preceded in death by her husband John Arthur Newsom; parents, Silas and Mary Elizabeth Busby; three brothers, Henry Busby, Charles Busby, and Thomas Busby and one grandchild, Baby Wynn McDaniel.

She loved spending time with her family and adored being around her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, being outdoors and playing games and cards with friends and family.
