Billy Gene Bell, age 92, of Southaven, passed away at his home on Friday, September 8, 2023. He was born in Trenton, TN on October 23, 1930 to the late Jesse Hillard and Lora Mae (Burns) Bell.
Billy worked as an electrician and was a member of the Woodman of the World. He enjoyed traveling and camping, puzzles, fishing, and going for walks, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family and was a very devoted husband.
In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Dale Estelle (Littleton) Bell, son Timothy Karl Bell, great-grandson Steven Spade, Sr., and brother R C Bell.
Billy will be remembered by his sons Gary Bell (Pamela), Steven Bell (Audrey), and Keith Bell, daughter-in-law Rhonda Bell, grandchildren Christopher Bell, Stephanie Spade, Saja Stacks, Jennifer Scott, Amanda Bell, Jason Bell, Matthew Bell, and Michelle Asher, 19 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, sister Mary Cherry (Ray), numerous nieces and nephews, and his fur baby Star.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Twin Oaks Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
