Brenda Sue Estes, affectionately known as Mimi, passed away peacefully at home on September 12, 2025 at the age of 75, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 26, 1950, in Memphis, Tennessee, Brenda touched countless lives with her vibrant spirit and heartfelt generosity.

Brenda was more than just a remarkable individual; she was a beacon of joy and laughter, the life of every gathering. Throughout her career, she was well-loved by her work family at Walthal Brothers and later at Kemmons Wilson Company.

Brenda had exceptional taste in music, and her unique personality even inspired her to coin the word “Brendaful,” which perfectly encapsulated her approach to life. She loved fly fishing, building campfires, and embarking on adventures with her 3 best friends.

Above all, Brenda's proudest accomplishments were her children: Jason & JoLyn Avery, Joy Arwood, Jeff Estes, and Jennifer Estes. She leaves behind a loving mother, Christine Stafford, and a brother, Greg Stafford. Brenda was also the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

As we reflect on the life of Brenda Sue Estes, we remember the love she freely gave and the laughter she generated wherever she went. Her kindness, cooking, and vibrant presence will be profoundly missed.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will take place on September 20, 2025, at The Carter Memorial Chapel at Twin Oaks Funeral Home, located in Southaven, Mississippi. Family and friends are invited to gather and share in honoring the legacy of this beautiful, spirited woman who brought so much joy and love to all who knew her.
