Carol Jean Buchanan

Carol Jean Buchanan, fondly known as Jean, was born on April 5, 1950, in Gadsden, Tennessee. She passed away peacefully at home in Byhalia, Mississippi, on August 29, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Jean was a nurturing soul who cherished the time she spent taking care of her garden and watching the hummingbirds. Her love for her grandchildren was evident to all who knew her, and she took pride in being a devoted mother and grandmother. Jean's family included her cherished child, Heather Aldridge, and her son-in-law, Richard Aldridge. She was a loving grandmother to Ashlyn Aldridge and Alexa Aldridge, who brought her much joy throughout her life.

Throughout her 30+ years of marriage to Larry Buchanan, who has since passed away, Jean found happiness in sharing her life with him and creating a beautiful home filled with love. She also fondly remembered her parents and her sibling, Linda Byrum, who are no longer with us.

Jean lived a life filled with love for her family, admiration for her garden, and a dedication to nurturing those around her. She will be remembered for her caring nature and her ability to bring happiness to all who entered her life.
