Cheryl Lynn Hall, lovingly known as MawMaw and MiMi, passed away on September 12, 2026, in Southaven, Mississippi, after a two-year battle with cancer. She was born on January 26, 1949, in Memphis, Tennessee.

Cheryl was a woman deeply dedicated to her family, and the center of her life was always the people she loved most. Taking care of her children and grandchildren was not simply part of her life’s work—it was her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. She built her days around those she cherished, giving them her time, her care, and the steady love that made her so special to all who knew her.

She also found happiness in life’s simple and joyful moments. Cheryl loved to dance and treasured family cookouts, boating, and swimming. These were the moments where her love of family shined brightest, gathering those around her in laughter, togetherness, and warm memories that will be carried forward by everyone blessed to share them.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Hall; her daughters, Missy Beyer, Kimberly Carter and her husband Rick Carter, Cheryl Manns, and Connie Hall; and her son, Chè Langham. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Michael, Lindsey, Hannah, Merissa, Bryce, Chris, Haley, Austin, William, Cody, Courtney, Harley, Braxton, and Gracie, along with several great-grandchildren. Cheryl is also survived by her sister Pam and her husband Jim, her sister Judy, her brother Mike, and a host of other family members, including nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, John and Helen Patrick, and by her sister, Debbie Crawford.

Those who loved Cheryl will remember a woman whose heart was anchored in her family. As MawMaw and MiMi, she gave a kind of love that will not be forgotten—steadfast, joyful, and full of care. Her memory will live on in the lives of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
