David Ruble

July 26, 1969 — June 7, 2026

David R. Ruble, born on July 26, 1969, in Nuremberg, Germany, peacefully passed away on June 7, 2026, in Southaven, Mississippi, after a long battle, surrounded by the love and presence of his family. His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him, yet the legacy of his quiet strength and unwavering devotion to those he loved will forever remain.

David was a man of simple joys and deep commitments. He was known to be quiet and reserved, yet immensely giving—always the first to offer help to anyone in need without hesitation. Throughout his life, David’s greatest happiness came from caring for his family, a responsibility he embraced with both humility and pride. As a devoted husband to Nicole Ruble, a loving father to Nicholas (Allison) Ruble and Gabrielle Ruble, and a cherished grandfather to Kashdon, Wrenley, and Brextyn, David's love for his family was the foundation of his life. Family was everything to him, and he took great pride in being a provider and protector, embodying the qualities of a great husband and parent.

David’s passions reflected his spirit of adventure and peace. He found joy in riding his motorcycle, especially treasuring his trips to Gatlinburg, moments that brought him freedom and contentment. Fishing was another of his beloved pastimes, offering him quiet moments to reflect and connect with nature. These simple pleasures mirrored the man he was—content with the essentials, happy in the presence of loved ones, and generous with his time and heart.

David is survived by his wife Nicole Ruble; his children, Nicholas (Allison) Ruble and Gabrielle Ruble; and his grandchildren, Kashdon, Wrenley, and Brextyn. He is also survived by his father, Michael Ruble; his siblings, Robert Ruble, Paul Erickson, Phillip Erickson, Charles Erickson, and Michelle Boren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Berta Ruble, who no doubt welcomes him in peace.

David’s life was marked by quiet sacrifices and simple triumphs. His proudest accomplishments were his family and the joys of motorcycling, reflections of a man who did not seek grandeur but rather found fulfillment in love and loyalty. Though he was a man of few words, his impact was eloquent and lasting, felt deeply by all fortunate enough to have known him.

In this time of sorrow, we remember David R. Ruble—a devoted husband, proud father, loving grandfather, and steadfast friend. His spirit will continue to guide and inspire, reminding us all of the power of love, kindness, and the quiet strength found in a life well lived.
