David W. Shreeve

David William Shreeve, age 73, of Olive Branch MS, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 17, 1949, to Kenneth and Virginia Shreeve.

David served honorably in the United States Army and is a veteran of the Vietnam War.  He received two Air Medals and a Bronze star during his tour of duty in Vietnam.  His family meant everything to him, and he enjoyed devoting his time to his loving children and grandchildren. He enjoyed playing golf. Although there wasn’t a sport he didn’t enjoy watching, the Kansas City Chiefs and Memphis Tigers will always remain his favorites.

David will be remembered by his two children Ken (Tina) Shreeve & Emily (Carl) Cottam; his grandchildren Andrew (Hayley) Shreeve, Jack Shreeve, Sarah Shreeve, Ella Cottam, Evan Cottam, and Ben Cottam; his great-grandchild Noah; his brother James (Diana) Shreeve and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Linda Shreeve, parents Kenneth & Virginia Shreeve, sister Natalee Pitt, and beloved dog Lily.

The family will welcome friends for a visitation in David W. Shreeve’s honor on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service in the Chapel of Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
