Deloris Dean Swords, 75, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. Twin Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Deloris was born on August 4, 1944 in Pontotoc, Mississippi. She was a faithful member of Olive Branch Primitive Baptist Church. The most important thing to her was the family that she made for herself. She will be greatly missed for the love, humor and wisdom that she shared with everyone in her path.
She is survived by her sons, Neal (Michelle) Swords and Jeff (Judy) Swords; three grandchildren, Jackson Swords, Jordan Jenne’, and Jaena Frye; and four great grandchildren, Alana Swords, Allison Boykin, Kandan Boykin and Brantley Battle; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Herbert Swords; parents, Johnnie Clyde and Burma L. Kelley; and three brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Mrs. Swords can be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (alzfdn.org).
