Southaven

Loving mother, grandmother, and friend, Dolores Ann Tucker, affectionately known to many as "Miss Dee," passed away peacefully after a long illness on January 20, 2026, in Southaven, Mississippi. Born on June 13, 1941, in Memphis, Tennessee, she spread joy and warmth wherever she went, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.

Dolores dedicated her life to her family, tirelessly providing for their needs and cherishing every moment spent together. At Christmas time, her home became a haven of laughter and love, where traditions were nurtured, and memories were made. Her children, Steve and Keith, grew up knowing they had everything they needed thanks to their mother's unwavering commitment. Dolores's home was a reflection of her spirit—meticulously clean and constantly infused with her light and love.

With a personality that shone brightly, she could make anyone smile. There was never a dull moment with Dolores; her funny, spunky demeanor could lift spirits in an instant. She possessed a rare ability to connect deeply with others, never having met a stranger. Dolores was a caring and loving presence, full of surprises, who told it like it was and had a way of making people feel seen and valued.

Her hobbies, which included tending to her beautiful rose garden and indulging in shopping sprees, were complemented by her deep faith and love for God. She was a believer who found solace and strength in her faith, and this unwavering belief guided her through life's challenges.

Dolores was immensely proud of her family. Her legacy lives on through her children, Steve (Kris) and Keith (Cindy), her grandchildren—Brandie, Erin, Billy, Lacey, Madison, and Addison—and her nine treasured great-grandchildren. These relationships were her proudest accomplishments, the very core of her heart.

Though we mourn the loss of Dolores, we celebrate the life she led and the love she shared. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Her parents, Burt and Ella Mae Huddleston, as well as her siblings, Burt, Caroline, and Bill Huddleston, welcomed her to eternal peace.
