In loving memory of Donna Jean McMahon, known affectionately as "Nonna," we gather here to celebrate a life that was filled with warmth, love, and cherished moments. Donna passed away on March 8, 2024, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Donna was born on November 20, 1965 in the vibrant city of Memphis, TN, to her loving parents Donald E. and Gertrude Jean McMahon. From a young age, it was evident that Donna possessed a heart as expansive as the Tennessee sky. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and she touched the lives of all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her.

Throughout her career as a secretary and bookkeeper at B&W Heating and Air, Donna exhibited dedication and diligence in all that she did. Her commitment to her work was only surpassed by her unwavering love for her family. One of Donna's proudest accomplishments was becoming a mother to her beloved son Brandon, whom she adored beyond measure.

Those who knew Donna well understood that she had a passion for life that was immeasurable. She found joy in simple pleasures like catching her first fish – a small treasure that brought immense happiness to her gentle soul. Donna's hobbies and interests were varied; from bowling to baking, from watching football games coached by Nick Saban to getting lost in the pages of a good book, she embraced every moment with an infectious enthusiasm.

Her big-hearted nature, sensitive spirit, and stubborn determination endeared her to many. Donna's love for her grandkids and nieces Lindsey and Kendall never wavered; they were truly the lights of her life. She took immense pride in witnessing her son Brandon excel in his pursuits, including his passion for sports.

As we bid farewell to Donna in this world, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace. She leaves behind her surviving family: son Brandon Hammonds (Haley); brother Ross McMahon (Courtney); sister Linda Bynum (Chris); grandchildren Tripp, Brody, Laiken, Paxton, and Brayden; nieces Kendall and Lindsey – all of whom will carry forward the memories of their beloved Nonna with them always.

May we find solace in the cherished moments we shared with Donna Jean McMahon – a remarkable woman whose presence brightened our lives in ways words cannot express.

Rest in peace, dear Nonna. You will forever remain in our hearts.
