Elizabeth Ann Motz, affectionately known as Ann, was a remarkable individual whose presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Born in Mississippi on July 22nd, 1941, she embarked on a fulfilling career path as a realtor and eventually became the proud owner of Ann Motz Realty.

Ann's vibrant personality left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Described as someone who could never say a mean word, she exuded outgoing energy and carried herself like a mother to her friends. Her innate ability to see the good in others and her unwavering kindness and care made her truly unique. Ann had a heart full of love for everyone she crossed paths with, never seeing any wrong in anyone.

Outside of her successful career, Ann found joy in exploring the world and indulging her love for travel, especially to the beach and various destinations. She also had a passion for real estate, work, and even enjoyed critiquing food. In her leisure time, you could often find her engrossed in Hallmark channel movies or basking in the beauty of the beach and mountains.

Among her proudest accomplishments was shaping the landscape of real estate in DeSoto County, leaving a legacy that continues to thrive today. Ann played an integral role in developing numerous subdivisions that have become cherished parts of the community, as well as the Sunrise Home for Boys.

On March 13th, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones in Hernando, MS, Elizabeth Ann Motz peacefully passed away. While we mourn her loss deeply, we take solace in knowing that her memory will live on through the lives she touched.

Elizabeth Ann Motz is survived by a host of loved ones who will forever cherish the moments shared with such an extraordinary soul. May she rest in eternal peace, forever remembered for her boundless love and unwavering positivity.
