Horace Ardell Patrick Jr.

April 12, 1955 — January 7, 2026

Biloxi, MS

Horace Ardell Patrick Jr. was born in Memphis, TN, on April 12, 1955, and left this world peacefully on January 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family at his residence. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Horace lived a life full of dedication and warmth, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate to know him.

Horace was a hardworking man, owning a commercial HVAC company, where he tirelessly devoted himself to his career. His engaging and outgoing personality was a beacon of light, drawing friends and family close. He was a loving husband to his cherished wife, Vicky Patrick, with whom he shared countless joyful moments. Vicky lovingly recounts how much she adored Horace’s amiable nature, fondly remembering his ability to light up a room with his presence and heartfelt laughter.

As a father, Horace took immense pride in his children: Angela (John) Keenum, Kevin (Megha) Patrick, Brandy Patrick, Valarie (Matthew) Morgan, and Tony (Abbie) Baker. He found endless joy in being a grandfather, creating special bonds with each of his grandchildren: Colton and Brooklyn Keenum, Arya and Kannnon Patrick, Emmie Lou, Eden and Lainie Baker, Isabella, Isaiah, Levi, Jeremiah, and Noah Morgan, Dino, and Leia Chiozza. The love he had for his grandkids was unparalleled, and they will forever treasure the moments shared with their ‘Paw Paw.’

Horace was an old-school Christian man, strong and unwavering in his beliefs. He served in the Air Force for a short time, an experience that shaped his character. His genuine kindness extended to everyone; he was known for his willingness to help others, often giving the shirt off his back to those in need. In his leisure, he found joy in fishing, boating, and enjoying music, not to mention his enthusiastic participation in Mardi Gras celebrations and attending Memphis Tigers football games.

He cherished his dreams, one of which was owning a house in Biloxi—a symbol of his hard work and aspirations. He took pride in the legacy he built, particularly with his son Kevin, who will carry on the Patrick name.

Horace's journey, however, has not been without heartache. He was preceded in death by his mother, Letha Jane Robinson; father, Horace Ardell Patrick Sr.; and siblings, Cindy Cook, Dana Thompson, and Danny Patrick. Their memories live on in the stories of his life and the love that shaped him.

A visitation is scheduled to be held on January 13, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at The Carter Memorial Chapel at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, MS, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to celebrate a life so deeply cherished.

Horace Ardell Patrick Jr. will be remembered as a loving, outgoing, and caring individual whose legacy will continue to inspire all of us. His larger-than-life spirit and unwavering love for his family will forever hold a special place in our hearts. He will be greatly missed by a host of family and friends.
