Jackie Louise Teague

Jackie Louise Teague, lovingly known to many as “P-nut,” passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026, in her beloved hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. Jackie’s presence graced this world for 71 years, her warmth and generosity touching the hearts of all fortunate enough to know her.

Born on October 14, 1954, in Memphis, Jackie’s life was defined by her kindness, vivacity, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. Family and community were always at the heart of her world, and she built a legacy rich with love, laughter, and compassion.

Jackie devoted herself to a career marked by dedication and energetic spirit. She spent ten years with Federal Express, before applying her remarkable organizational skills and spirited drive to a thirteen-year tenure as the executive secretary at Fitzgerald. Most recently, she took on the role of Vice President in the T&T family-owned business, a position she cherished for more than a decade. Her colleagues remember her as someone who brightened the workplace, and whose loyalty and optimism inspired those around her.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jackie’s zest for life was contagious. She delighted in travel, always eager for a new adventure or a gathering of friends and family. She particularly loved attending classic car shows, taking to the road with Ricky and creating lasting memories along the way. Friends often recall her playfulness during family game nights and her knack for making every moment joyful—her laughter echoing, her spirit lifting all within her circle.

Animals held a special place in Jackie’s heart. Her love for her dog—and for all creatures—was well-known. It became a familiar sight to see Jackie riding in the back of the motor coach, always conceding the front to her pup. Jackie never had a harsh word for anyone; her belief in kindness guided her life, leaving all she encountered with a sense of gladness and peace. Her deep faith as a Christian woman shaped her character, and her quiet strength served as a source of comfort and support for others.

Jackie’s legacy is grounded in bonds of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ricky Teague, whose life was made fuller by her partnership and unwavering affection. She also leaves behind her beloved fur-baby Tulla Mae, her sister Josephine Anderson (Don), and her loving nieces and nephew: Chris Anderson, Mitzi Anderson, and Emily Woodcock (Josh). Though she mourned the loss of her father, Joe Ray Stewart, and her mother, Ramelle Stewart, throughout her life, Jackie honored their memory through her resilience and the love she gave so freely.

Those who knew Jackie will forever cherish her effervescent nature—a woman who loved deeply, laughed heartily, and lived life, always, on the go. She showed us all how to treasure the adventure of every day, to value companionship, and to meet each person and animal we encounter with open arms.

Services celebrating Jackie Louise Teague’s remarkable life will be held at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, 290 Goodman Rd E, Southaven, MS 38671, on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. and a graveside service at 4:00 p.m. All are welcome to honor Jackie’s memory and the beautiful life she shared with us.

Though Jackie has left this earth, the impressions she made—the love, the laughter, and her kind, adventurous soul—remain with us always. Her light endures in every heart she touched.
