Jeffery Scott Meskenas

Jeffery Scott Meskenas, aka "Tina Torch," left this world on August 5, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, following a brave battle with an infection. He was born on July 4, 1962, in Carbondale, Illinois, and lived a vibrant life filled with creativity and passion.

For over 40 years, Jeffery made a significant mark in the world of hairstyling. His talent as a fabulous hairstylist allowed him to work for many companies, where he became known for his exceptional ability to craft beautiful hairstyles that brought joy and confidence to countless individuals. Jeffery's artistry and commitment to his craft left an indelible legacy in the lives he touched, earning the admiration and respect of his peers and clients alike.

He is survived by his brother, David Meskenas. Jeffery was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Shirley, and sister, Mara Michelle, both of whom he missed dearly and whose presence brought warmth to his life.

Per his wishes, Jeffery's cremated remains will be scattered in Mexico, one of his favorite places, a testament to his love for the beauty and culture that inspired him throughout his life.
