Jimmy O. Hall Sr.

Jimmy O. Hall Sr., age 77, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026.

He was born August 31, 1948, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver S. Hall and Martha Hall; his brother, Dennie Hall; and his sisters, Patricia Yarbrough and Karen Dye.

He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Holliday (James) of Horn Lake, Mississippi; his son, Jimmy Hall Jr. (Terri) of Grenada, Mississippi; and his brother, Mickey Hall (Norma) of Water Valley, Mississippi.

He also leaves three grandchildren, James Spoon (Jennifer), Hailey Rainwater (Kevin), and Savannah Thomas (Garrett), and five great-grandchildren, Avery, Harper, Jay, Reid, and Lily. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.

Jimmy worked for many years as a mechanic at the General Electric Lamp Plant in Memphis before his retirement. When he was younger, he enjoyed racing cars and later in life continued to enjoy watching NASCAR races.

He will be remembered for his dedication to his family and the many memories shared with those who knew and loved him.
