John Martin Maples, age 45, of Southaven, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 17, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born in Memphis, TN on July 29, 1977 to Milton Roy and Carol Jean (Smith) Maples.
John graduated from Southaven High School in 1996, where he was proud to be able to play the baritone in the band. He enjoyed playing board games and video games with his family and friends, watching movies, but most of all, spending time with his children.
John is preceded in death by a close friend, Jason Jones, whom he considered to be a brother.
In addition to his parents, John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 27 years, Liane (Patterson) Maples, children Breanne Maples, Tristan Maples, and Nathan Maples, a close friend, Brian McDowell, whom he also considers to be a brother, and three fur babies, Fiji, Riley, and Charlie.
Services will be private.
