John Raymond Fiester

John Raymond Fiester, age 69, of Southaven, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Baptist DeSoto Hospital. He was born on December 15, 1953 in Evansville, IN to the late Raymond and Cecilia (Reiman) Fiester.
John retired from Baptist DeSoto Hospital as a registered nurse. He was previously a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Southaven, and more recently attended Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Robinsonville. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, loved to read, loved history – especially war history, loved music – especially rock, and loved watching movies and he knew information on all the actors. His favorite types of movies were the old space movies.
In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his brother, Gary Fiester.
John is survived by his wife of over 13 years, Brenda (Ray) Fiester, daughters Brittany Jones (Marcel) and Lauren Sullivan (Brian), grandson Shane Sullivan, a granddaughter on the way, his sister Suzie Peach (Jerry), and his nephew, Darin Willis, and niece Vickie Willis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 785 Church Road, Southaven, from 10:00 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
