Kathryn Stark

Kathryn Waneice Stark, 81, went home on Monday, February 24, 2020 at Desoto Healthcare Center. Family will be receiving friends on Friday, February 28, 2020 starting at 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church ( 8888 US-51, Southaven, MS 38671) with a funeral service immediately following at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Desoto Memorial Gardens (630 Star Landing Rd E, Southaven, MS 38672).Twin Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Kathryn was born on November 12, 1938 in Askew, MS. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Southaven, MS. She will be greatly missed for the unconditional love she gave, the smile that lit up a room, and the hugs that gave comfort and strength.

She is survived by her daughter, Lana (Chuck) McElhaney; son, Neil McGehee; 6 grandchildren, and 12 great- grandchildren.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, James Stark; parents, L. K. and Eulene Reeder; 3 siblings; son, Mark McGehee and granddaughter, LeAnne Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Kathryn Stark to donation of choice.
