It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Lisa Sinquefield, who left us all too soon on April 15, 2025. Born on January 3, 1960, Lisa was a shining light in the lives of many — known for her caring nature, her grateful heart, and her unique “old soul.”
Lisa is survived by the love of her life, her husband Peter Sinquefield; her loving mother Bobby Lou Hausman and stepfather Dennis Hausman; her brother Gary Olivi and sister-in-law Cathy Olivi; her half-sisters Tina Hawks and Gina Stone; a bonus daughter Krissy Sinquefield, and a bonus son, Sean Deneen.
She also leaves behind her best friend and soulmate of over 50 years, Rhonda Price, as well as a wide and loving circle of friends and relatives across the country.
Lisa was preceded in death by her grandmother Louise “Momma Weeze” Whitaker, her grandfather Robert “Daddy Bob” Whitaker, and her father William “Bo” Olivi.
Lisa had a deep love and compassion for animals. She was known to rescue a stray or take in a pet without hesitation, offering them the same warmth and care she gave everyone around her. A lover of all things purple, Lisa found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Her greatest joy, however, was laughter — especially when shared with her husband and close friends. Enid Lake held a special place in her heart and was one of her favorite places to relax and fish with Peter.
Lisa leaves behind a legacy of a grateful heart. Her life was marked by a successful career with the Nike Corporation, but more importantly, by deep and enduring relationships with her cherished family and friends. She lived by the mantra “always look for the good,” a lesson she imparted to all who knew her. It is this positive and life-affirming spirit that we will remember and hold close.
The void left by Lisa’s passing is immense, and she will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her love for life, the joy she radiated, and the memories she gifted us will continue to carry us forward.
We invite you to join us in remembering and celebrating Lisa Sinquefield — a phenomenal woman whose spirit will forever inspire the many lives she touched.
