Mary Jane Akers

Mary Jane Akers, 90, of Hernando, MS, was born January 21, 1927 in Memphis, TN and passed away August 5, 2017 at Great Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Byhalia, MS.  Mary Jane was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis.  She enjoyed puzzles, reading, and Elvis.  Survivors include her cousins, Barbara Camurati, Beth Culp and her husband, Marc, Geraldine Lundy, and Samuel “Eddie” Haire and his wife, Sharlene.  She was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Akers and his wife, Willie.
