Mattie Lucille Crutchfield

Mattie Lucille Crutchfield, age 82, of Nesbit, passed away at her daughter’s home in Hernando.  She was born on May 17, 1941 in Guntown, MS to the late Jim C. and Jettie Irene (Cook) Hester, Sr.

Lucille retired from General Electric in 1999 and was a member of Horn Lake Assembly of God.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles and word searches, was an avid reader.  She loved cooking and is known for her chicken and dumplings and butter rolls and enjoyed having her family together.

In addition to her parents, Lucille is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, Jerry Crutchfield, and her son Kevin Crutchfield.

Lucille will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kim Adams (Johnny), brother Jimmy Hester, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am.  Burial will be private at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
