Michael Wayne Garner, age 33, of Lake Cormorant, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023. He was born in Southaven on June 2, 1990 to Rodger Allen Garner and Donna Kaye (Pearson) Clayton.
Michael loved to hunt and fish and coached softball, but he loved spending time with his children and family the most. He was the best husband, father, son, brother, grandson, uncle and cousin, and he is loved by all.
Michael is preceded in death by his brother, Rodger Allen Garner II and his beloved uncle, Bill Pearson.
In addition to his parents, Michael will be lovingly remembered by his wife of four years, Stacey (Denley) Garner, daughter Michaela Garner, stepchildren Marleigh and Jack Gray, brother Tommy Garner and his wife Magan of Hernando, stepbrother Hunter Clayton of Hernando, maternal grandparents Paul and Myrtis Pearson of Senatobia, stepfather Phillip Clayton, close friends Michael and Toni Rutherford that were like a brother and sister to him, nephews Dalton Garner and Mason Griffiths, nieces Graham Garner and Hazel Grace Rutherford, and a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Twin Oaks Funeral Home from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am.
