On May 12, 2023, Miguel Alfonso Villalobos II, of Byhalia, MS, ran into the loving arms of the Lord while surrounded by close family. He leaves behind a beautiful, adoring son named Ezra Villalobos, his parents Miguel and Brandy Villalobos, brothers Alejandro Villalobos and Nicholas Villalobos, grandparents Mark Butler, Alfonso Villalobos, Terrie Cruz, and Armando Cruz, and great-grandmother Cathy Muhundro, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Miguel is preceded in death by his grandmother, Kitty Butler, and great-grandmother, Ruth Burke.
Miguel was born on September 10, 2000 in Memphis, TN and was 22 years old at the time of his passing. He worked as a farm hand and was a homeschool graduate, as well as an aspiring botanist.
Miguel was a truly gifted musician and an amazing cook. He was a self-taught guitarist and could play anything he wanted by just taking a little time to listen. He loved cooking everything from desserts (his tres leches cake was his signature creation) to seafood and had no boundaries in the kitchen.
Miguel was a doting father to his son, Ezra. His heart was full of his son with more love and emotion than he was able to express all at once. He was also a loyal and understanding brother who listened and helped without ever passing judgment. We’re almost sure he took the heat for his brothers’ mischievous antics a time or two!
Miguel was a devoted and selfless son and grandson. When he wasn’t playing guitar or chasing around with his brothers, he was giving his time helping his parents and siblings care for his grandma. He was that friend everyone looked to and had many whom he cared for dearly. There aren’t enough words to describe how special he was to every life he touched. He will be forever remembered and kept alive in our hearts and memories.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
