PAUL JUNIOR HURST,
71, was born April 17, 1944 in Ashport, TN and passed away June 30, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – DeSoto. Mr. Hurst was an Army National Guard veteran and a member of First Baptist Church in Horn Lake, MS. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Brenda Coats Hurst of Southaven; two daughters, Andrea Hurst Staggs and her husband, Michael of Olive Branch, MS and Stacey Hurst Bennett and her husband, Jason of Bartlett, TN; one granddaughter, Samantha Woods of Olive Branch; two sisters, Helen Newman of Jackson, TN and Earnestine Reed of St. Louis, MO; two brothers, Robert Jones of Ripley, TN and Jerry Dale Jones of Brighton, TN; stepmother, Christine Hurst of Paris, TN; and one stepbrother, Gerald Hurst of Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Odean and Martha Jones; father, Paul E. Hurst; one brother, Adrian Jones; and one stepsister, Geraldine Hurst. Visitation will be

11:30 a.m.
at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven. The family requests that any memorials be made to the Special Olympics (Area 16), 2900 Valleybrook, Horn Lake, MS 38637.
