Peggy Lorene Adams

Peggy Lorene Adams, age 86, of Southaven, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Baptist DeSoto Hospital.  She was born in Nashville, TN on April 11, 1937 to the late Murray and Bradie (Knight) Tatum.

Peggy was a member of Heartland Church and was previously a member of the Red Hat Society.  She enjoyed art and drawing, decorating her dollhouse, displaying her miniature village, and having her Christmas tree up year round, changing the decorations for the different seasons and holidays.

In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 50 years, Hugh E.  Adams, and daughter Brenda Adams-Gordon.

Peggy will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Patricia Lee Stout (Byron), son Gary Edward Adams (Tracy), grandchildren Misty Ferguson-Wood (Charles "Chuck"), Shane Ferguson (Brandy), Aarica Kelly, Brian Kelly, Patrick Gordon, Elijah Gordon, and Rhiannon Gordon, her soon-to-be here great-granddaughter Annlee Ferguson, brothers Bryant Tatum (Sammie), and James "Buddy" Wallace  Tatum (Patricia), son-in-law Matthew Gordon, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her loving friends from her Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Twin Oaks Funeral Home from 10:00 am until the time of the graveside service at 11:00 am at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
