RONALD LEE REYER,
65, retired airline passenger service agent, was born November 28, 1949 in Cedar Falls, IA and passed away November 19, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – DeSoto in Southaven. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and “Daddy-Daughter” Pool Tournaments. Rocky was a former scout leader for Boy Scout Troop #349 and was a member of the Standing Eight Hunting Club and the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers Union. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda Reyer of Southaven; three children, Lisa Oswald and her husband, Scott of Temecula, CA, Erik Reyer and his wife, Rebecca of Baltic, CT, and Heather Headrick and her husband, Scott of Evansville, IN; his mother, Lucille Reyer of Sioux City, IA; three siblings, Reed Reyer of Iowa, Ralene Glenn and her husband, Ed of Helena, MT, and Lenus Reyer of Sioux City, IA; two grandchildren, Erik Headrick and Ethan Headrick of Evansville, IN; and his brother-in-law, Michael Vennetti of San Francisco, CA. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Reyer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be made to the Southaven Police Benevolence Fund to help the families of fallen officers.
