Samantha Rae Prigmore

September 8, 1996 — February 2, 2024

Sarah, MS

Samantha Rae Prigmore, lovingly known as Sam, has left an indelible mark on the lives of all those she touched. With a career in early childhood education as a daycare worker at KinderCare in Southaven, she nurtured and cared for countless children as if they were her own. Her warm personality and genuine love for the little ones knew no bounds.

Born on September 8, 1996, in Memphis, Tennessee, Samantha embraced life with an unwavering spirit and an infectious smile. She was an outgoing soul who radiated positivity wherever she went. Her caring nature extended beyond her work; she selflessly attended to the needs of others, putting their well-being first without hesitation. Samantha's determination and stubbornness only served to make her even more admirable, as she stood steadfast in her beliefs and relentlessly pursued her goals.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Samantha can attest to the depth of her love and kindness. She had an immense capacity for compassion and was always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Whether it was offering support during challenging times or celebrating joyous occasions, Samantha's presence brought comfort and solace.

Outside of her professional life, Samantha found joy in various hobbies and interests. She had a deep affection for her dog, March, who brought immense joy to her life. Shooting pool was another passion that allowed her to connect with friends and family while showcasing her competitive spirit. And being by the lake or surrounded by loved ones filled her heart with happiness.

Samantha is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Tracey Lea (Franklin) Prigmore.

Samantha will be deeply missed by all those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her throughout her journey. She is survived by her loving father Eddie Prigmore III, sister Lauren Goudie (Patrick), brother Dusten Prigmore (Taryn), boyfriend Carson Luther, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who became family.

In the wake of Samantha's passing, let us remember her as a beacon of light in our lives. Though she may be physically absent, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us all. May we honor her memory by embracing her unwavering love for others and living life to the fullest, just as she did.

Farewell, dear Samantha. Thank you for gracing our lives with your presence. May your soul find eternal peace as you embark on your next great adventure.
