Sandra Bell Phillips

December 7, 1945 — November 22, 2025

Olive Branch

Sandra Bell Phillips, born on December 7, 1945, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, was a remarkable woman whose legacy of love and devotion touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2025, in Olive Branch, Mississippi, surrounded by cherished memories and the warmth of her family.

For 62 blissful years, she shared her life with her loving husband, Bobby Phillips, who stood by her side through every joy and challenge. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family, and Sandra took great pride in being a devoted wife and mother. Her children—Dawn Couch, Lee Ann (Johnny) Williams, and Laura (Scott) Strong—were her proudest accomplishments. She poured her heart into raising them, instilling values of kindness, strength, and faith that will continue to resonate in their lives for generations to come.

Sandra's love extended to her grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life: Matthew Couch, Madison Couch, Allison Williams (Brian) Baker, Aarin Williams, Weston Williams, Ragan Strong, and Carter Strong. Each moment spent with them was treasured, and her role as a grandmother was something she embraced with open arms. Her great-grandchildren, Alayna, Jaxxon, and Dutton, were the apples of her eye, and they, too, will carry forward her loving spirit.

Sandra was known not only for her nurturing nature but also for her undeniable elegance and grace. She was crowned Miss Dyersburg in 1962, a testament to her beauty inside and out. Her strong Christian values shaped her character, and she held a deep love for children and strong women of faith. A passionate collector of dolls and angels, Sandra found joy in her hobbies, especially her affinity for Disney, which added an element of whimsy to her life.

Family vacations were among the many special memories she cherished, providing moments of laughter and togetherness that she would hold dear forever. Her brothers, Gary and Bill Bell, also remain as pillars of support and cherished bonds in her family circle.

Sandra's passing leaves a profound void, felt deeply by her alive family and friends, including her beloved husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as her brothers. She joins her parents, C.U. and Ada Bell, in eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy built on love, compassion, and devotion.

In the days following her departure, friends and family are invited to Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Southaven, Mississippi, to celebrate her remarkable life. Visitation will take place on November 26, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM, and a burial at 2:00 PM.
