Shari Grace Crumpton, lovingly known as "Ziggy," graced this world with her vibrant spirit from January 1, 1967, until her peaceful transition on June 2, 2025, in Nesbit, Mississippi. Born in the soulful city of Memphis, Tennessee, Shari carried the essence of her roots throughout her spirited life.

A woman of craft and heart, she dedicated herself to creating beauty in every aspect of her surroundings. Shari's hands were never idle; they constructed memories as she embraced the joy of crafting. She found solace and excitement in music, letting the rhythms and melodies become the backdrop to the life she shared with her beloved family.

Her personality shimmered with strength and independence, and her genuine sweetness drew many to her warmth. Outgoing and vivacious, Shari was a beacon of positivity, ready to engage the world with an uplifting presence. Her favorite saying, delivered with a flourish and unmistakable attitude, was "I hope you think," a mantra that echoed her desire for others to engage deeply and joyously with life.

Shari was most proud of her daughter, a testament to the love and devotion she poured into her family. She is survived by her father, Walter Crumpton (Rose), and her siblings: Gary Hanson, Donna Jones, Carl Crumpton, Stacey Hoing (Ricky), and Timothy Crumpton (Karen). Her legacy continues through her cherished nephews and nieces: Wade Crumpton, Lacey Chapman, Stephanie Williams (Steven),  Dalton Hanson (Kari), Tori Russell (Chris) and Alex Pitsch along with great nieces and nephews.

Though Shari has departed, she leaves behind cherished memories and a family bonded by love and gratitude for her remarkable spirit. She joins those who preceded her in death, including her beloved mother, Grace Arlene Gross, her daughter, Kelcie Ashmore, Kelcie's father, Keith Ashmore, and her niece, Samantha Stewart.

As we remember Shari Grace Crumpton, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with creativity, laughter, and profound love. Her spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends, echoing the lessons of strength, independence, and the beauty of crafting one’s own legacy.
