Virginia Mitchell Bell

Virginia Mitchell Bell,

74, of Hernando, MS, went home to be with her Lord December 2, 2017.  She was born June 26, 1943 in Merrill, Maine, the daughter of Don and Pearl (Tozier) Mitchell.  Virginia dedicated her life to the service of God; serving as a minister’s wife, pianist, and Sunday School teacher.  She loved her family, cooking, baking, reading, and bird watching.  She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Lawrence M. Bell of Hernando; two daughters, Michelle Pavano and her husband, David of Bristol, Connecticut and Juanita Chamberlin and her husband, Larry of Hernando; two grandchildren, Victoria Chamberlin and Larry Chamberlin, both of Hernando; three brothers, Phillip Mitchell and his wife, Sue of West Virginia, Steven Mitchell of Maine, and Eric Mitchell and his wife, Diane of Pennsylvania.  She was preceded in death by her parents and ten siblings.  Friends may call from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at First Assembly of God, 6550 Camelot Road, Horn Lake, MS.  A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m., Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the First Assembly of God, with Pastor David Smith officiating.
