William “Bill” Gregory Chaliff

William “Bill” Gregory Chaliff, age 61, of Memphis, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023 at his home. He was born in Hamilton, OH on December 27, 1961 to Marilyn (Wetta) Chaliff and the late Irwin Chaliff.
Bill worked as an auto mechanic and caregiver, loved John Wayne movies, car shows, and his favorite soap opera General Hospital. He was a huge football fan with the Cincinnati Bengals being his favorite team. Bill loved the Christmas holiday and would go all out in decorating for the holiday. He enjoyed woodworking, boating and fishing, but enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and dogs the most.
In addition to his father, Bill is preceded in death by his brother Michael Chaliff and sister Benita Arnold.
In addition to his mother, Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 37 years, Marilyn (Gore) Chaliff, son Gregory Chaliff (Jessica), daughters Jennifer Bounds (LáDane) and Kerrie Hoffman (Brian), grandchildren Kye Llorente and Laila Bounds, brother John “Jack” Chaliff (Pam), his canine fur babies Remi and Kimber, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at 10 AM at the Hyde Lake Pavilion at Shelby Farms Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Memphis, 935 Farm Road, Memphis, TN 38134.
