Alberta Creasie Houston, age 88, of Southaven, passed away at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on December 23, 1934 in Benton County, MS to the late Jessie and Birdie (Wilkerson) Creasie.
Alberta was a member of Goodman Oaks Church of Christ, and had worked at Baptist Memorial Hospital after retiring from Macy’s/Goldsmith’s.
In addition to her parents, Alberta is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Houston, granddaughter Michelle Jones, and her siblings Mary Ann Jeanes, Jack Creasie, and Dimples Wilson, and her granddaughter-in-law, Ashley Henley.
Alberta will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Betty Thompson, Vickie Preston, and Teresa Novay, grandchildren Kristy Greene, Sarah Williams (Michael), Rachel Fragale (Billy), Stephanie Maronde (Nathan), and Brandon Henley, 11 great-grandchildren, and a long-time special friend, Ronnie Wilson.
Burial was private at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
