ANITA GAIL TURPIN,
74, was born January 10, 1941 in Memphis, TN and passed away November 11, 2015 at her home. She was a member of Minor Memorial United Methodist Church in Walls, MS, the Daylily Society, past member of the Eastern Star, was active in the Memphis Square Dance Association, and was a volunteer for Seniors in Action in Horn Lake, MS. Mrs. Turpin enjoyed woodworking, cross-stitching, and crafts. She is survived by her children, Deborah Cullipher, David Gilbert and his wife, Becky, Denese Lammey and her husband, Shawn, and Diana Beene; seven grandchildren, Mason, Brittney, Jimmy, T.J., Mitchell, Samantha, and Chase; and six great grandchildren, Alyssa, Benton, Kaylie, Nevaeh, C.J., and Chris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy J. Turpin; one grandson, Robert Dixon; her parents, Paul and Pauline Tollison; one brother, Ronnie Tollison; and one sister, Sherry Reynolds. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, with Rev. Amanda Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven.
