BIRDIE MAE BAUMGARDNER, 71, was born May 9, 1944 in Ingomar, MS and passed away January 26, 2016 at North Delta Hospice House in Southaven, MS. Mrs. Baumgardner was a retired executive secretary for the VA Medical Center and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 35 ½ years, Tony Baumgardner; two sons, Mike Moore and his wife, Melissa and Greg Moore and his wife, Angela; one sister, Mary Ann Tucker; and four grandchildren, Kaitlin Moore, Kelsey Moore, Garrett Moore, and Jordan Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Earl and Margie Elizabeth Kidd and one brother, Larry Kidd. Visitation will be Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 12 p.m. until the service begins at 2 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven. Burial will follow in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven.

My first wife and I were a part of her’s and your dad’s wedding. I remember her as having a bright, sunny personality. I am sorry for your loss and know that she will be missed.
