Bonnie Barlow, age 80, passed away February 19, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven, MS. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 11:30 am followed by funeral services at 12:30 pm all at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
Bonnie was born January 9, 1942, in Calhoun City, MS, to Sulla Gray Johnson. She grew up in Marks, Mississippi and attended Darling School. She attended South Point Church and was a member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Southaven, MS. She loved to spend time with her family, friends, but most of all her grandchildren. She loved to sing karaoke, attend her yearly school reunion picnics, travel on cruises, go out to eat, and watch her soap operas. When Bonnie was younger she enjoyed making clothes for her daughters and granddaughter, gardening, playing softball, basketball, and bowling.
Bonnie leaves behind her daughters: Peggy Fulgham and Angela Smith; son-in-laws, Bubba Smith and Phillip Fulgham; brother: Earl Johnson; sister-in-law Ruby Johnson; grandchildren: Kayla Smith, Timothy Pulley; great grandchildren: Tommy Smith, IV and Easton Smith, Kaydence Hill, Tristan Pulley, Elijah Pulley, Joey Byrd, Hayden Pulley, Ella Wren Miller, Gunnar Ellis.
Preceded in death include her husband of 55 years of marriage, Joe Barlow; daughter, Theresa Lynn Barlow; grandson T.J. Smith; granddaughters, Heather, Haylee, and Kaylee Smith; sisters, Wanda Gaye Johnson, Winnie Faye Johnson; brother Gene Timbes.
