Brian Dale Stover, age 66, of Tishomingo, MS and formerly of Lake Comorant, passed away at his home on Friday, April 7, 2023.  He was born in Centralia, IL on March 12, 1957 to Wathena Lee (Hazelrigg) Stover and the late Wilson Dean Stover.

Brian retired as a Lead Aviation Technician from FedEx in 2017 after 34 years of service, and had developed long and lasting friendships with a special group of men that were with him throughout his life.  He had also served as Alderman in Walls.  He belonged to several deer clubs and the NRA.  He was an avid deer hunter and outdoorsman and he loved hunting and fishing.  Brian’s greatest joy was spending time with his wife, but most especially his sons and grandchildren.  Since retirement, Brian has lovingly cared for his mother and son.

In addition to his father, Brian is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Stover.

Brian will be remembered by his beloved wife of over 42 years, Margo (Calvi) Stover, sons Daniel Stover (Jill) and Frank “Rusty” Stover, grandchildren Daxton and Marley Stover, his father-in-law Frank Calvi (Margie), brother-in-law Vince Calvi (Kim), and his fur babies, Skeeter and Brody.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Twin Oaks Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm, officiated by David Lloyd and Vlad Baraniuk of Longview Heights Baptist Church.  Nick Berezni, Eric Calvi, Chris Denley, Dustin Gordon, Kyle Horne, Corey Reeves, Brandon Robinson, and Marty Thomas will serve as pallbearers, and Vince Calvi and Bobby Pennington will serve as honorary pallbearers.  Burial will immediately follow the service at New Bethlehem Cemetery in Horn Lake.

Memorials may be made in Brian’s name to the Greene Blythe Scholarship foundation at Northwest Mississippi Community College, 4975 US-51, Senatobia, MS 38668.
