Bridget Joyce Brunner, 52, was granted her angel wings on March 17, 2021. Family will be receiving friends Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a celebration of life following at 2:00 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Road East Southaven, MS 38671).
Bridget grew up in Southaven, MS where she loved playing competitive softball and cheering for Southaven High School. She attended Delta State University and the University of Memphis where she was a member of the elite dance/pom teams. Bridget enjoyed being around people, so her profession in the service industry for 20+ years was most appropriate for her outgoing personality. Bridget was full of life and a beautiful woman that never met a stranger. In fact, her zest for life took her to all corners of America and a few months in Spain. She was the epitome of a “free spirit” and will be missed dearly by all who got to know her. Bridget frequently reminded her family that when she left this life, she would have done everything she wanted to do while here…Those that had the privilege to meet Bridget, will never forget her.
She leaves behind her loving mother, Brenda J. Brunner of Southaven, Mississippi; her sister Rita (Wes) Kersey; her brother Richy (Crystal) Brunner Jr.; her niece GiGi Kersey; her nephew Richy Brunner III; longtime companion Randy Farabee; and her beloved pet, Dinero.
She is preceded in death by her father, Larry Brunner; grandparents Francis and Rita Brunner, Herman and Hannah Harless.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Mississippi NAMI (namims.org)
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26

April 9, 2021 at 5:20 pmMy heart breaks over this precious life. She was so beautiful and full of energy in high school. Everyone knew her and loved her. I moved away after high school so I did not know her in recent years but I am crushed that she is gone. I pray that she and Lisa Sprinkle Adams are walking the streets of heaven waiting for the rest of us to join them. My condolences on your loss.
