CAROLYN POTEET July 8, 1943 - January 11, 2016

CAROLYN POTEET, 72, was born July 8, 1943 in Michigan and passed away January 11, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN.  Mrs. Poteet was a member of the Olive Branch Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by two sons, Don Michael Poteet (Robin) and David Scott Poteet (Katherine); two daughters, Christina Jane Mitchell (William Osborne) and Alysia Pendergrass (Robert); two brothers, James Morrison and William Morrison; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Poteet and one grandson, Roger Mitchell. Visitation will be Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, MS. Services will be Friday, January 15, 2016 at the funeral home with burial in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven.
