Chandler Rhea Pipkin

June 16, 1997 — February 19, 2018

Chandler Rhea Pipkin, 20, was called home to be with the Lord, Monday, February 19, 2018 in Cleveland MS.

Chandler was definitely a one of a kind young woman. She possessed a personality and charisma like no other. She was sassy, goofy, competitive, loving, and unique all wrapped up in one. Once Chandler began attending Delta State University, she blossomed into an outgoing young woman ready to take on anything thrown her way. Everyone who came in contact with Chandler automatically wanted to be her friend, although she had certain standards you had to meet. She was a kindhearted, sweet soul and you couldn’t help, but to fall in love with her. Chandler was reserved when it came to expressing her feelings of love and admiration towards someone. She didn’t love out loud. Chandler wasn’t going to come out and directly tell you she loved you, but you automatically knew because her love was a love so strong it could be felt without words. She loved her family and friends, and would do anything in her power to keep them smiling and laughing. Chandler enjoyed playing competitive softball, watching baseball, and the Office, traveling, and spending time on the beach tanning. Her pride and joy was her fur baby, Kap, whom she rescued off of the side of the road. Chandler loved shopping and filling her closet with beautiful clothing, shoes, and jewelry. She was the definition of a true princess. She was a member of Phi Mu sorority and loved her sorority sisters dearly. Chandler was a true beauty and it was evident in the many selfies she took. She could live solely off of macaroni and cheese, Cheez-Its, and chocolate chip waffles from Waffle House. She always said that being the middle child helped to better her ability in team work. Chandler had a positive influence on most everyone she encountered, and she left her mark on this world. Above all else, she trusted and loved the Lord with all her heart. Chandler’s legacy will be kept alive by her family and friends as they recall the countless memories they shared with her.

Chandler leaves behind her parents, James “Jimmy” Edward Pipkin, Jr. of Southaven, MS, and Tina Marie Pipkin of Olive Branch, MS; two sisters, Morgan Celeste Pipkin and Grace Alexandra Pipkin, both of Olive Branch; grandmother, Donna Duncan of Olive Branch. She also leaves behind a host of loving friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank Duncan, Linda Baldwin Pipkin, and Norman Cockrell; great-grandmother, Nancy Baldwin; and uncle, Danny Pipkin.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018, from 5:30 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Oak Forest Church of God (7700 Getwell Rd; Southaven, MS 38672). A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel at Oak Forest Church of God. Interment will be at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven.
