Charles Leon Barton

Charles Leon Barton, 82, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away December 14, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital- Desoto. He was born on April 5, 1935 to the late Homer and Oree Barton. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ann Barton; one daughter, Donna Hughey (Lee); one brother, Hal Barton (Patsy); one daughter-in-law, Laurie Barton,  and four grandchildren: Brandon Hughey, Tori Hughey, Anna Barton, and Catherine Barton.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Troy Barton. Mr. Barton was a member of Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch and loved the Lord. He was in the United States Army and served his country proudly. Family was always his number one priority. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Longview Heights Baptist Church from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Longview Heights Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Wayne Marshall officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Interment will follow at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
