Daniel Franklin Brown, 47, was born September 21, 1969 in Charleston, SC and passed away December 3, 2016 at his home. He was a Marine Corp veteran serving in Somalia, Desert Shield, and Desert Storm. Mr. Brown was a police officer with the Memphis Police Department for 16 years. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Amy Brown; two daughters, Breianna Hays and her husband, Jarrett and Sara Brown; parents, Billy and Sharon Brown; and two sisters, Marnie Garcia and her husband, Christopher and Tia Lynn Brown. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 8th from 12-noon until the memorial service begins at 1 p.m. at Southpoint Church, 2010 Stateline Road, Southaven, MS.
