Daniel Wilson Fernstrom, Jr., of Independence, MS 38618. He was born in Brownsville, TN and raised in Henning and Memphis. He is survived by wife, Tommie Wolf Fernstrom, and Children, Jennifer Fernstrom Carroll (Wayne), Rachael Fernstrom Self (Michael), Olivia Fernstrom Hammond (Eric), Benjamin Travis Steed, Connie Brown Demanto (Dominic), Daniela Brown Alexander (Jason) Grandchildren, April Carroll, Sarah Carroll Addison, Shannon Carroll, Matthew Carroll, Leah Carroll, Jayden Carroll, Jacob Childers, Caleb Childers, Naomi Childers, Abigail Pace, James Michael Self, Erica Jane Hammond Knight, Zachery Hammond, Christian Steed, Donna Steed Great grandchildren, Noah Addison, Joseph Addison, David Carroll, Kaelyn Childers, Charlotte Childers, Natalie Childers, Nohvella Hammond, Zayden Hammond, Waylon Hammond, Elizabeth Knight, Grayson Knight, Jaxton Knight, Willow Knight Sisters, Anita Fernstrom Berry and Majorie Tarwater Jacks and Brother, Charles “Chuck” Tarwater He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Rains Fernstrom Tarwater and father, Daniel W. Fernstrom, Sr. Pall bearers: Matthew Carroll Zachery Hammond Caleb Childers James Michael Self Cole Addison Lonnie Brown Mr. Fernstrom was a faithful member and deacon of Safehaven Baptist Church, Independence, MS. He graduated from William R. Moore Technical College in Memphis, TN certified in welding, furniture making and auto mechanics. He retired from Dover Elevators, Inc. where his co-workers nicked named him, “Chubby” as a professional welder of 25 years of service. He helped build the Memphis Arkansas Bridge in Memphis, TN. He was an animal lover. His adopted dog is named Mr.Louie and he boarded his show horses at Lazy W Ranch on Church Road in Southaven, MS. He enjoyed music and dance. He played the piano and trumpet. He enjoyed art, fishing and travel. He was an American patriotic and served in many ministries. He was a man of few words but when he spoke people listened. He was humorous and loved to see people happy, smiling and enjoying life. In lieu of flowers, please make donate to your local church and charity in honor of him.
