Deborah “Debbie” Faye Archer, 61, of Horn Lake, MS unexpectedly gained her angel wings on January 27, 2022. She is finally at peace and reunited with her husband, son, and other relatives.
Debbie was born on August 3, 1960 in Memphis, TN. She was the beloved wife and best friend to her late husband of 35 years, Jim Archer. Debbie had a huge heart for caring for people. The last 5 years she was a devoted caregiver for her clients and loved her profession. She was extremely dedicated to her family and was known to always put them first before herself. When you first met her, you could see all the love she had for them. Nothing made her smile more than being around family and her grandchildren. Debbie’s heart grew even bigger for her beloved dogs, her “second children”. She had such a special bond with her pets, Lela, Millie, Abigail, and Dixie who will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her children, Michelle (Len) Littlejohn of Hattiesburg, MS, and Craig (April) Archer of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Abigail, Andrew, and Archer; her sisters Linda McCorkingdale of Annadale, VA, Sue (Jerry) Killough of Southaven, MS and Janet (Randy) Buss Southaven, MS; Brother-in-law Mark (Julie) Allision Birmingham, AL; Sister-in-law Sandy LaFevers New Albany, IN; family Barbara James of Olive Branch, MS, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband James “Jim” Archer; Son Jeremy Archer; Mother Joyce Wade; Father Wade Wallace; Niece Carla Perkins; Brother Wade Wallace, JR.
The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 4 pm to 6 pm. The Celebration of Life will be at 5:00 pm at Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Road East Southaven, MS 38671).
