Delbert Lewis Irvin, 77, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020. A visitation will be held at Mt. Manna Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 11
th
from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral service will also be held at Mt. Manna Baptist Church on Thursday, November 12
th
at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Delbert was a member of Mt. Manna Baptist Church and, the Hay Patch Hunting Club since 2002, and loved hunting and fishing with all of his friends. He enjoyed being outside and tending his chickens. He loved all of his family and friends and shared many happy memories over the years with them all.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Clarence and Mrs. Donnie Irvin, his loving wife Serena Dunlap Irvin, and siblings; Clarence Larry Irvin, Josie Sides, Freida Jumper, and Vickie Watkins.
Survivors include his daughter Lisa Irvin-Woods and husband Tony, grandchildren; Lauren Howard and husband Trey, and Hunter Woods, two great-grandchildren; Layton and Hallie Howard, and one brother Carl Irvin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Heart Association or the Parkinson’s Research Foundation.
