Dennis Lynn Klakamp, 78, went home on Friday, February 14, 2020. Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 starting at 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Road East Southaven, MS) with a memorial service immediately following. Twin Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Dennis was born on October 23, 1941 in Seymour, IN. He was a faithful member of Oak Forest Church of God. Dennis’whole life was revolved around his grandbabies. He will be greatly missed for the unconditional love he gave, the smile that lit up a room, and the hugs that gave comfort and strength.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Vivian Louise Klakamp; children, Dennis Michael Klakamp, Robert (Shari) Klakamp, and Jennifer (James) Barnette; grandchildren, Amanda, Joshua, and Jacob Klakamp, and Lauren and Sarah Barnette; siblings, Patricia Otte, Gary and Frank Klakamp.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Lynn and Dorothy Jane Klakamp; and sister, Linda Jerome.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Dennis Klakamp to St. Jude. (stjude.org).
