Don Louis Montesi, Sr.

Don Louis Montesi, Sr., age 78, of Southaven, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis. He was born in Memphis on May 13, 1944 to the late Nello and Evelyn (Bernardi) Montesi, Sr.
Don was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church where he served as an Usher and a member of the Senior Services Club Forever Young. He loved fishing, football, baseball, and basketball, and played baseball in junior high and high school. While he loved each of those things, spending time with his family was most important to him.
In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his brother, Nello Montesi, Jr.
Don will be remembered by his beloved wife of 55 years, Sandra (Singleton) Montesi, son Donnie Montesi, Jr., nephews Perry Montesi and Monte Montesi, and niece Melanie Montesi.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 785 Church Road West, Southaven from 10:00 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made in Don’s memory to Christ the King Catholic Church.
